Valerie Bertinelli

Valerie Anne Bertinelli (born April 23, 1960)[2] is an American actor. Her first recognition came when she was an adolescent. She starred as Barbara Cooper Royer on the sitcom One Day at a Time (1975-1984) and for which she received the two Golden Globe Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series, Miniseries or Television Film. The actress later gained stardom by playing Gloria on the Christian drama series Touched by an Angel (2001-2003) and Melanie Moretti on the sitcom Hot in Cleveland (2010-2015) The latter earned her a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. Her name was added to an Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2012. Bertinelli was signed to a new contract for a new contract with Food Network in December 2021. The host has hosted numerous shows for Food Network such as Valerie's cook-in-the-home (2015-2023) and Kids Baking Championships (2015-present). This former won the show two Daytime Emmy Awards out of six nominees. In December 2021, Bertinelli signed a new deal for Food Network.Bertinelli was married to music producer Eddie Van Halen from 1981 until 2007, and with whom she has one child, Wolfgang. From 2011 to 2022 she got married with Tom Vitale.
